Meet Kip Snow, Owner & Instructor.
Kip Snow, originally from Elkin, NC now lives in Mocksville. He has played music since he was old enough to hold an instrument and plays mandolin, guitar and banjo in a variety of styles from jazz and rock to bluegrass and country. A founding member of Dixie Creek Revival, he also travelled with the Gospel Voices in the early to mid 90s, playing in churches in North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Virginia. He has been influenced by the rhythm of Sam Bush, the tone of David Grisman, the creativity of Béla Fleck, New Grass Revival, Steve Morse and the Dixie Dregs, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bob Marley, Django Rhineheart, and Jethro Burns.
On top of playing, he has been teaching for 25 years, doing so full time for the past ten. Kip is well liked by both kids and adults, and is respected for his patience and dedication to all his students.
